you bring to me your dying heart
you bring to me
your dying heart
part
the pages of my book of life
and write your love
at last
@>>-->>>-------
winter thought
today I went looking for you
the house blinked at me
with empty eyes
since you died
the grass stopped growing
@>>-->>>-------
oh rose
a dove ascended
oh rose mourning lost summer
leaving not a trace
@>>-->>>-------
i remember
i remember
when i left it was raining
on my return
the sun was shining
you were gone

What a medley of endearment, longing, and picturesque
loverings ( a new word, I guess).
I especially love the Winter Thought. a house blinking
only you and I could uncover that way of thinking. Oops..a rhyme.
~~~ Wonderful ~~~
very very nice... i liked the first one a lot... and thess lines were great:
since you died
the grass stopped growing
i also really liked the irony of the last one... it's all very nice.. great job -
soft verse, sorrow embraced - i liked the house blinking and the grass stopped growing section the best from these, but of course all are lovely. to mourn is to release the sighs that gather, we must let them free to float.
[new System Message] Rage of Reason (im) made a comment on You bring to Me your Dying Heart (reply):
'The respectful and compassionate exchange of feelings knows no boundaries. On this day used by dark forces to pray for destruction and agony, a token of Light has found its way from heart to heart.
