Emotions entangled,spirits entwined
He tugs at her trying to unwind.
Hearts mended
Then ripped apart again.
Put back together like pieces of a
Shattered mirror.
Illusions he builds.
Characters they create.
To obscure the doubts he trusts in
Faith.
Belief held firmly,
Secured by a thread.
Familiar experiences calms the dread.
Heartache gained.moments gone.
For that past love his soul
Longs.
Reflections he sees.
Distorted they seem.
The image he potrays
Is hence but a dream.
