You can make a hen tell the truth,
But you cannot steal an egg.
You can't make a chicken cross the road,
But it will in time.
You can't eat spaghetti with an ax,
But you can eat soup with a fork.
I'm not sure how I learned that,
But I did and it shows.
I am at a point where things don't make sense,
But I eventually figure them out.
I just want to be free.
I want to have the wind carry me away.
I want to wait until it rains to wash my hair.
(Its more natural that way).
I have no clue how to advise a balloon,
But I want to learn.

I think the lines that struck me the most were the third and fourth lines. "You can't make a chicken cross a road. But it will in time." One thing I like about this is that it suggests that there are a lot of things we could not control, but in the end, what we wanted could happen in time.
The poem actually suggests to me a sense of not being in control of a lot of things, but still learning a lot because we don't understand.
The last line is a nice one to finish this off. It suggests that we never stop learning. As we want more, more is given us. "We can't make a chicken cross the road. But it will in time." I really like that.
Thanks for sharing this one.

Good work
Haven't we all been to this point, and, I guess, some of us stay there. "I am at a point where things don't make sense, But I eventually figure them out." A really good piece, thank you for posting this

Sounds like you may be one of those people known as a "fountain of useless knowledge", I dont mean that in a negative way. But maybe you're sitting back and thinking of all the silly things you know, and can say. Then all the things you have no clue how to understand.

Weird and fun
Wow that was really random and cool..................plus your screen name is cool too -
I like randomness. It is...beautiful...sounds like me...on another trip though.
Great work hun. Keep up these thoughts and feelings. You can solve all problems through the mind, its just the world loves the attention of a bad rep. Great poem.
*hugs*
