Lamentation For Sunrise

Obsolete, wilted memories...
Flock amidst the moaning trees

The divine herd marks blood apun this land
Preaching their hatred for Love's blooming orchids
Sent from the Sun's morning rays
The message of the Wind

Treading endlessly through this infernal moor
Held within the hearts of winter's victims
Claimed by eternal frost
And the cold touch
Of looming shadows
In the luminous silence

Obscure, faint illuminations
Appear beneath the mire

The mist subsides
Revealing my dreams to her flesh
Enrobed in twilight wings
A sigh, a lamentation is heard
She opens her mouth to speak
As I am swept inside
Of her soul's mystique
