$$$ vegas $$$

in this city that never sleeps
i have roamed lost lonely and weak
surrounded by families
that gamble their lives away
i gambled with love and
lost
there was a  high price to pay
in this city of sin
everything costs
many come to play
few will win
most end up having to pay
and count it as a loss
a desert town
where my enemies lurk
this is where people
come to do their dirt
a party town
built on gambling women and drugs
i am surrounded by
perpetrators
pimps hustlers
and thugs
sex hungry violent men
trust no one
for you have no true friends
in this city
where i can't get any sleep
the devil waits for souls to reap

i have many vices in this mad life but gambling i am pleased to say is not one of them, my dad used to be betting on the horses every single day, okay sometimes he would get a big win, but mostly he would lose.

This is really deep, and although i have never been to vegas, this really shows of your descrtiptive skills, and you haven't wasted a single second babbling on about the lights, or the food. If you made this poem with less variation of the sentence length.
