Was it Gods wish
that when I found you,
our friendship
would grow with each
passing moment.
That in my heart
I would forever love
and care for you.
As strong winds blow
the slow white clouds:
distance is but a blink
of a thought where you
are always painted
in my mind . . . .
In my soul you will
always remain there:
for wherever our lives
lead our hearts will follow.
Up mountains through forests
our happiness and treasures
of good health and contentment
will nurture but a deeper love
I send to you my dear friend.

Aww this was such a sweet poem. Did you ever give to your friend? You should they would love it.Although they would probably cry there eyes out while reading it like I did..hehe! Like a said before you are a great writter! -
This was truly lovely in every way. Friendship is taken for granted in so many ways as adults, I think as children we had a better understanding ...lol. Your poem brings out the true essence of love and friendship as a whole heart. Its something I've thought about alot lately. Since dating, I have found out really deep down what I want is a best friend, not a boyfriend. Hmm. something like the feeling you got as a child when your bestfriend finally came home from summer camp. Someone that knows you straight to the core, mutual respect and honesty. Anyway thats what your wonderful poem got me thinking about.
