Beyond the darkness
There is a light
Only to be seen by
Those who blend with the night
A passage way to happiness or
Condemntion to reveal...
Nothing is worth
What the pain makes you feel
Life or death
Nobody knows
Which one will save us
Or where we will go?
Hidden knowledge
Of the great forbidden
They smirk at our stupidity
As their hearts start to harden...
Fall into the abyss
That has made you strong
Fall away to become brittle
Broken feelings last so long
Realizing the truth
Of what we've become
We start to fade
As our minds slowly numb.
