A Mother Is:::
Loving hands quickly reach
Each time she hears a cry
Lifting up to comfort
And kiss the tears all dry
Weary eyes refusing sleep
Stay the whole night through
Her child is sick and hurting
Her tender care is due
The many tasks all done in love
To make it through each day
Seem to go unnoticed
Till she is gone away
A Mother is that someone
With a mission from above
Imparting to her children
The image of God's love!

This is just lovely, It makes me want to call my Mum and tell her how much she means to me, I hope one day when my kids are grown the will appreciate me like you do your Mother.....Tear!

What a lovely tribute to your mum... she must be pleased with this... as you said we don't realise how much she maens to us till she's gone away... You have penned the image of a true mother into a picture perfect masterpiece. The beauty you have set forth within your words is amazing. Sadly we often take our mothers for granted and never see this until they are gone. It is only then we tend to realize all that they have done for us in so very many ways. It is nice to see someone taking the time to show their mother how much they appreciate all she has done for them. Bravo!
