What There Is

In a world of my own creation,
lost in my own damnation.
I'll dream of your love,
knowing you lie above.

Away from the pits of flames,
far from the demon games.
No nightmares haunt your dreams,
none hear your pained screams.

They tell me it's not true,
they say it's not me but you.
But I know it was my blood flowing,
and my own soul going.

I know I'm the real dead,
because I'm the one that bled.
I'm the one tied down,
in this white room and gown.

I'm told it's not real,
they say I can heal.
I'm told of medications,
and asked about my aspirations.

Can't they see the truth,
that I'm a broken youth.
I'm happy here in Hell,
that the branch broke and feel.

I'm happy that I bled,
happy that I am dead.
For I know reality,
the truth behind morality.

I've seen our death,
breathed my last breath.
But I was stolen back,
to be put upon the rack.

I've seen your angel wings,
and now feel the needle's sting.
I've felt all that is right,
now I'm looked upon with spite.

I'm the stolen one,
my happiness undone.
But this pleases me,
for I know you're free.

Author notes

Ok this was thought of when my love and I were talking about how we were both undead, having been saved by modern medications. As I was thinking about it I thought of what we had been denied by having our lives saved, and, well, this just came into it's own miserablt exsistance. BTW I am happy on Earth but only because of my great friends (Like Orchid (can I still call you that even though you've changed your penname?)) and my lover.

    I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PEICE!!!!!! i can relate to it so much!!!! you have to meet my friend katie...u and her are like the same person in different bodies...

    but anywho...what up??? this is amazing!!! i absolutely fuckin love it!!!! it reminded me of somethin i wrote over the weekend...but decided toi throw out cause i wrote it really badly...like everything was off scheme and the word choice sucked....but yours is so much better....i wish i had written it...lmao...awesome job hun!!!!!
