From the ages long since gone
When gas and dust combined as one
A delicate balance was set in place
And under its spell arose the human race
A Force that pulls in Opposite Directions
Equal in size and mirrored objections
Some call it good and Evil Others Ying and Yang
Whatever it is it stirs within man
Conflict is its border as the line takes stress and strain
And on both sides of the line resides the world’s pain
For there will never be peace as this line shifts back and forth
And in the valley it creates War runs its course
Peace is a myth, the calm before the storm
It’s the eye of the hurricane the universe wont reform
This is how it’s always been and will for evermore
Until some unseen power decides its time to settle the score.

An interesting piece of writing and form of free verse. Seems very contemplative and intriguing with strong and poignant uses of imagery. Anthony.

well penned i enjoyed this piece thoroughly the video accentuated it. keep up the good work and thanks for sharing

Fantastic is the only word to describe this. You have taken the dark genre and molded it to your own form. There aren't enough superlatives to describe how much I enjoyed this.
Love,

This is great, Paul. I read it first without the voice and thought, how true, right on. Then I listened to the recording with it... I liked just the reading of it, and Wow, adding your voice lent itself very nicely to the depth and also complimented it with just the right eeriness.
Good job and I see you won a well deserved trophy for your efforts

Very Deep and it flows from line to line
Conflict is its border as the line takes stress and strain
And on both sides of the line resides the world’s pain

Wow. This is an awesome poem. A deep and thought provoking piece. It's logical that there will never be peace but we can do our upmost to make sure that our 'home' is peaceful, and if we all have peaceful thoughts they go out into the universe like postive balls of energy. That's why it's so important to try and not think bad things about people especially if they are bad people, because that just gives them more power. Excellent.

Mr 'Cyberartist' I wondered back here looking for what I expected to find and found it. --- You are a thinking persons scribe. Thank you.

Very, very well written. The rhyme is natural, not forced ( I have so much trouble with that myself I have come to appreciate it in better poet's works) The words flow well, the language is excellent. I like it a lot.

Yes, so much can be said about this thing what we call destiny isnt it? But what i adore most here are the several references you have made to explain this to us, specially as you come towards the end of the write. Its been a while since I have read from you, but you never stop to teach and make aware of the things araound us, the simple things of life. A very very deep write, thanks for these thoughts!
Love always,
Lencio
