.
I have been to the mountaintop-
Watched the planet’s surface,
As little clouds cast big shadows
Blocking the sun as they chased the wind...
I heard the eternal song of creation,
As its silent refrain sang endlessly-
Unhindered by treading footsteps
Or the busy minds of men.
I breathed with deep inhale
The clear air of balsams-
Intoxicating my mind,
And launching my soul!
I tasted the freedom-
Of melting snow,
Following gravity’s law
Over precipice wall.
With bare hands I held stone-
Forged before the dawn of time
Deep in Earth’s warm embrace,
Now thrust to the heavens!
Only now can I smile
With knowing eyes.

Again you bring tears to my eyes with the sheer beauty of your words. I have visited that moutaintop as well. The picture reminded me of my recent trip to Mt.Ranier where I explored up close and personal, the spirit of my soul in that moment of God's beautiful Creation. I have missed your presence and am glad to see you again. Blessings always

Ah, to sip the sweet elixir of perspective, high above yet deep within...to see the earth in its curved surface beneath a 360 degree dome of firmament, to smell the fresh breath of Life around you...surely a sip of nectar to bring a deep smile indeed. Thank you for bringing such a sweetly sung draught back to our lips.
Wishing you ever a Rocky Mountain High, Rod -
Wondrous!
'I breathed with deep inhale

Intoxicating my mind,
And launching my soul!'
Dear Presence, this is what we must keep in our hearts at all times... There is nothing that can compare to nature. The picture is so beautiful I felt like I was sitting in an eagles nest! Every day I try to remind myself of how truly beautiful this world is and how blest I am to be here. I missed your poetry but this makes up for it! God Bless You! Jane

Whatever it takes, Presence, dear soul, to send your heart flying. The incredable beauty our creator has placed before our eyes is just a reminder of the beauty that dwells within.
That place inside us that knows appreciation. Celebrate that also. Beauteous poem sent my spirit flying with you.
Yes, that breathless delight (Didn't I just write a poem about that) Different subject, Same feeling.
Do you have a Gold Membership now. Picture and presntation are wonderfull. Love
Tara
