Constellation Love

Half/////////////////////way
around the////////////////world you
are and still you////////are here with me.
Two souls, bound by fate, masquerade upon
the constellations that adorn the night sky. Eyes
locked in deep gaze as energies entwine becoming
mirrored reflections. Individual emotions and thought
blend together in unison forming a unique singularity.
Hearts are stitched and sewn and woven into a gentle
blanket of undeniable love and trimmed with total
unconditional trust. As two descend beneath a
lacy veil of knowledge a new path is drawn.
Now taking to flight upon an unknown
journey they emerge within the
silken wraps of wisdom as
one. Enveloped within
one another they
soar through
space and
time.

This is such a perfect; touching tribute. Your imagery is amazing; you form such a real, touching, soft picture in the reader's mind. I don't normally like shape-poetry (I don't know the correct term for this form) but when it's done this skillfully; it's a beautiful thing- your chosen shape does not make the poem physically difficult to read, nor does it interrupt the wonderful rhythm you create to enhance the mood.
Freat write, congrats on your gold

Firstly, that is quite a lovely picture that you posted for this poem. Secondly, this poem paints such a stellar and perhaps eternal picture of love. There seems to be a certain sad wistfulness implied as well, as if time is growing short. I am also reminded of instances from Greek mythology (perhaps unrelated) where two people who loved one another were placed amongst the stars when they died. Anyhow, this is a great poem and I enjoyed reading it.

Very provocative piece, in that knowing and accepting do not replace learning. The relationship grows and becomes stronger with the passage of time, the accrued trust and the earned devotion. This is a lovely lesson wrapped in beautiful verse. Faith in one another, hope and fulfillment are illustrated clearly with a wonderful insight and imaginative style.

The images fused with sound created a dramatic

You have delivered a poem in concrete fashion that gives the reflection of love an almost literal reality. That the emotions generated between a man and women could stay as you have written indefinetly would indeed be a tribute. I am not sure that one could anything else done though. It was moving and as I said the concrete portion sealed its power. RC
