Why, oh why do you pick on me?
I don’t hurt you, just let me be
I look around filled with fear
Because I don’t wear the latest gear
Verbal, physical, its all abuse
I try to fight back but its no use
You don’t know how this makes me feel
Why do you do it what’s the deal
Next day off school, I’v got the flu
I know I’m lying, what can I do
I go in next day, walking slow
I know you are there, I don’t want to go
You call me names, mess with my head
I want to be home, tucked up in my bed
So I confront you and ask why
You beat me up, I start to cry
I try to leave, cant take anymore
But a teacher is guarding the main door
I tell him all that I’v been through
He says, don’t worry I have been watching you,
The very next day you are not there
I looked around everyone stops and stares
You have gone for good , I just cant believe
I told a teacher and you have been made to leave
So if this is happening to you
and you are feeling oh so blue
Tell someone please,a parent or teacher
You don't have to hide where bullies can't reach ya.

This poem made me cry because stuff like that used to always happen to me when I was a kid, and your right the teacher is always there if you need help, its just many are way to scared to ask for help, which you can't really blame them.You set up this poem really well and relayed a great message..good job. -

When my friend got bullied, she told the teacher and she got picked on even more, it was horrific BUT I really like your poem...I am so glad that you have written one like this, bullying needs to be stopped, I know how it feels, it is NOT a fun thing to deal with! And if only I had told someone, I would probably have a better future but I can't go back in time and change what has happened!I think this will help a lot of people getting bullied at the moment realize that telling someone will help them!
