Acceptance

I'm sitting on the narrow edge
with my back to my old world
vast empty space in front of me
as stars twinkle in the endless twilight

At once I'm at a loss for words
the new world ahead me shines
hows promise and hope once lost
lost in the maze that is my fearful mind

The wind softly blows through my hair
i cant see you but i know your waiting
breathing life into my empty heart
waiting for me to find my true path

Renewal and starting over again
the ways of life and evolution
walk the path with me so I'm not alone
fearful of what is to surly come

Show me who you think i am
what i need to be within this world
i need to see my inner truths
for that is my first step acceptance

"as stars twinkle in the endless twilight " that is such a beautiful description. Is "hows promise" a typo? I'm not sure there's suppose to be an "s" at the end of hows. If it's a question, maybe you should add some puntuation. I think some other punctuation could also be added. My favourite part was the point you made in the fourth stanza
    "Renewal and starting over again
the ways of life and evolution"
I think this is very true. Good job, and keep it up.
