One Thousand Words Unsaid

The withering heart may have light once more,
and not the burning, searing kind
The calm and gentle waves of contentment
will haunt one's memory once more

And all I have said before, I will say again
The eternal darkness surrounding your soul
is not all that's left of you; I see more,
and I know that this heart will mend and live again

That is life; healing, moving on,
and a smile is worth one thousand words unsaid

Author notes

I aim to heal however I can when it comes to those who I feel deserve it. He deserves it.

If he doesn't comment, he applauds whatever he reads. He's read anything in the Graveyard list at least once. Thanks for your comment, bro.

Hmm...I can't see why I could have possibly missed this one. I wonder if outlaw got to read it but it sure is a very nice poem I've come across this very evening. The way it flows, interconnecting so well together that the meanings of each line are just so strong. Strong foundations have been layed out for this one I'm sure of...

Wonderful write and I would applaud, had I not given most of my points now I'm terrible for applauds. Beautiful work.
