Heaven And Hell

There is no heaven without hell, no happiness without pain
And surely you must not be dying, for I know your kindness is not insane
And even though I am far away, you know I see more in you
than just the darkness and bitter cold that seems to shine through
I see a flicker shuddering in this cold and desolate land,
and I plan to help it ignite with the help of a lending hand
Please do not let apathy grip you in its cold, steel teeth
There are no words I can say to a bloodless, pallidity of a sheet
