Stars sparkling midnight velvet,
navy blue hue around the moon.
Sitting watching silence speaking,
falling stars begin to bloom.
I made a very secret wish,
wanting it to be fulfilled.
Sitting down in my gazebo,
the wind became cool still.
You once cut me roses red,
saying Darling this is for you.
Accepting love without those words,
it turned my loving heart blue.
Yet I picked up the pieces,
waiting for your love to grow.
Each time you embraced me,
I could never let you know.
I loved you with all my heart,
but I could not tell you so.
Waiting to hear, I love you,
No magic, so you must let me go!

Well done.
Beautifully written story of love gone away. You have written this with joy and sadness in the wording. Your words are also colorful as this story goes on.
