Learning to let go,
what a life lesson
How is it
that we get so attached,
become so dependant
clinging to that which does us nothing
but harm
How is it
that there are those
home-grown in gardens
of free will
and self-confidence
then there those
cultivated, as if a weed
a hassle
a nuisance
To be plucked, and tossed
in the yard waste bin
that is picked up on Tuesday
Though,
weeds are resilient
persistent little buggers
They don’t know when to quit,
thank goodness
Flourishing
a weed
or
a flower
It is in the eye of the beholder
Behold
I am a flower

Contemplation.... we can choose how we feel... no matter what we were catagorized as in the garden from which we grew...
