A love so grand and so true
deserves some loyalty just for you
I may be young, and far away,
but a friend is one I'd not betray
And even if so, we both know
that a tear in my seams would carry through
The love in my heart what bleed out then,
which only that friend could ever mend
Take this as my word to you
May you hold it tightly in your despair
A close friend may flourish from each verse
If so, it'll be one you'll not lose first
That would be your decision to make, not mine
Author notes

Wow...what true words. I so resonate with these words...I always said that I would want a friend like me, hmm...but now, I would like a friend like you
