The hot torrent of light streaming in shrivels frail petals
Will you keep the shadow upon me, dearest friend, so I will not burn?
We both have a moment on blossoming upon the wind,
and moonshine with twinkling stars are my true friends
May your shine gloss the graveyard of despair,
and drive away your shadows of dread and apathy
The glare is too harsh for the silken delicacy of my flesh,
so keep me safe from such burning eyes of bright expectancy
Then, may we both blossom into what we once hoped for

Something tells me you'll eventually start repeating yourself word for word with how much I'll be posting today.

Pretty, pretty! Lurvely poem, Rose. I...know I'm repeating the same words but I don't have much a vocabulary in these aspects.
Still, beautiful write and imagery and it flows so beautifully.
