I'll plaster on 1o [ Or More ] layers of make up a day, and smear it in to look ok. [By your standards] My attire not given a second glance [ By Me. ] Yet you copy it [ Horrendously. ] It's Perfect [ Always ] Attitude thrown out at you [ Loud And Clear ] You won't miss a second. [ Like You Ever Could ] I've created a reality for myself. It's perfect.[ Just Like You Think You Are.] Guess what? It's better than the one you live in. [Tenfold]
I'm laying on shattered glass [ Cascading Through Me ] It feels good when it hurts. At least I know I'm alive [Like you wish you did]
Stop asking me to give you something you can't handle when you know it's there. [The Truth] I'll give it anyways. [ Loudly ]
I hate you when you tell me to be Straight Edge Drugs are what keep me going. [ You Wish You Could Handle It] Don't bother [ Trying To ] calling the Feds or trying to get me stop. [ I'll Just Encourage you. ]
I'm the master [ Forever ] at playing mind games You'd bow down. [ With A Simple Glance ] I get everything I want through persuasion. [ You Have None. ]
My eye's Peirce through you. [ Much Worse Than Shattered Glass. ] I know how you are. [ You Don't Have To Open Your Fake Mouth. ]
You all obsess over me. [ Simply Because You Wish To Be Nearly As Great As Me. ] You sometimes even pretend you hate me. [ I Know You Don't. ] You all keep searching [ For What Makes Me So Perfect And Great. ] You just can't grasp it. [ Truth. ]
Lies spewing from your blood ridden mouth's [ Spread Them ] I could cut [ You ] open with all of them. [ With No Regrets. ] So stop. [ We're All Sick Of It. ]
I don't seek you [ Obsolete ] physical "perfection" [ It's All An Image Set Forth By Mainstream Society ] I've got all the perfection I need [ Honesty. Hips. Looks. Ribs. ] Like it's a big deal [ Yeah, Right ] Want looks that aren't all flab? [ Gag, Dammit ] Stop screaming for fast food [ Your Only Getting Fatter ] Shove your finger down your throat [ Punch Yourself In The Gut ] Drink something other than 2ooo Calorie soda [ Crystal Light Will Do ] Don't Biggie Size your meal and get a Diet Coke [ It Wont Make A Difference ]
Go and photo shop your pictures that will cost more than you could [ Whore ] Sell yourself for. You still wont be worth [ Any ] money [ In Any Country ] Besides, you still wont look as good as me. [ Like You Ever Could ]
Don't feel singled out as hated. [ I Hate You All ] So don't forget that. [ Even Those That I 'Love' ] And remember [ Don't Forget ] " Love and adoration is simply a byproduct of infatuation" [ Live By It ]
You only hate what you envy [ I Envy None. I Still Hate You .] And your only jealous of what you love [ I Can't Love Anything. ] And flattery is the lowest form of jealousy [ Flatter me More ]
We're all victims, and we are all to blame [ You Strayed From Reality ]
I don't want to read your [ Constant ] Crazy IM's and Messages [ I Already Know You Adore Me ] Don't feel special if I add you as a friend [ I Accept Everyone ]
So go on, keep adoring me [ Rip Me Open ] Feed off of me [ Take Me Apart ] Savor my remains [ They'll Still Bleed ]
Vanity's come knocking again [ We're best friends ] We hang out alot [ And It Compliments Well ] I still love you [ Vanity ] The only thing [ Trust Me ]
After all, I am the one true thing [ Obscure Dreams ]
Black and white shoelaces math everything [ No Arguing ] After all, everything is in black and white [ Truth ]

Ribs. ]" that is the opposite of how i feel but i don't have to be mainstream to feel happy with myself.dont have to listen to all of the conformist bands wearing the same old sheep outfits. this seems to be also really dark. good job

Still trying to figure this one out. It's either satire or an ovious case of Acute Ego Mania. The parenthesis thingy didn't work for this reader, it seemed a little overdone . If it's satire, it is a biting comment on today's anorexic, fashion conscious material world. It's been an education.

how deeep this poem is
great poem -
Cripes, I almost feel frisky after reading this. I know a lot of people who strive to get the world to think that they don't care and that they don't experience all 31 flavors of life's emotion. This poem (to me, anyway) shows me what is really going on, what the stage directions behind the curtain are. It shows me that there really is a light side to every dark moon. I dunno, {scratching head} something about this really hits home. This write has seriously got my mind in a little flutter, and I am going to go read more of your work. Stop by my page sometime, we can have little buddy-chats or something. I gotta go see what else you have to offer on your page. Rock on.
