        Listen good and hear
        As slumber closes in

        And sleep calm my child

                 As I slumber in your words

                 Heard them so very clear
                 As I close my eyes
                 You take away my fear

                 With a touch from your mouth
                 I rest in tranquil state
                 Until the sun arises
                 Arouse with deep elate

        The softness of my voice
        Carry through your mind
 
        Let the thoughts sustain you
        This peaceful rest you need
        And rise again tomorrow
        With nightmares now set free
