Puppy Love

I want a puppy love
just like when I was 21
tickling noses, kissey pooing
calling my sweetheart hon

I want to play fingers
do cuddling and cooing
giggle with my lover
pretend to know what I'm doing

I want to kiss forever
see how deep my tongue will go
I want to feel those goosebumps
like I did years ago

I want a puppy love
now that I've grown old
a women that can find my soul
and that would never leave me cold

Ahhhh...the Puppy Love...I do miss it! I have an occasional glimpse in this older, comfortable love that my hubby and I share...but there is nothing like that exciting feel of a "new" love. May we never forget it. Write on, poet.
