A tear slowly rolled down my face,
Pride falling to the ground as did my shirt,
No motivation to cover body, full of disdain,
Every part of my body hurt,
I craved something that was too hot to handle,
Bodies too young tend to fall under temptation,
Getting burned would have been easier to stand on,
My spirit experiencing full annihilation,
I’m convinced he didn’t mean it,
The gentle kiss on the lips told me so,
Though my body, he could not fit,
My innocence early I had to forgo,
The way he held me, left me intoxicated,
His inner bewilderment injected my veins,
I sat dazed wondering what was left of my pride faded,
But all I found was a boat load of shame,
So now I sit, blade in hand,
Cursed at by parents who can’t come close,
Nothing about them can seem to understand,
This will soon be my final overdose

this one brought a tear to my eye.... you have amazing talent. and for being 17.... you write with such wisdom in your voice...... never stop writing you have a gift.
Edited on Jun 27, 1:59 because 'sorry thought it said you were 16 anyway you do have an amazing gift'. -
::sighs:: sometimes the only way to take a pain away is to cause an even greater one upon yourself. the way this ended.. it seemed more like.. the blade you were holding wasn't actually a blade but a metaphor for something else. drugs possibly. something to where.. you won't feel it happen, you'll just slowly lose all senses and fall asleep and not wake up to what's going on.
this is another amazing write by you.. i could actually hear the pain in it as i read it to myself. leaves a lot of the reader to think about. great job..

This is an awesome write. It really takes the story in account. I am not sure if you wrote this before reading the synopsis but it really works. This is a really intense poem and flows really well. Great write and keep up the awesome work.
