Little Wednesday is my name
I took it from a little girl
This girl was in really great movie
Then in another of the same!
Little Wednesday is my name
Everybody knows it so
When I talk of poetry world
Each day I say my name's the same!
Deeper goes the poet's name
Never being one that's real
Easier it is to have one
Silly, strange, name not the same!
Do you have the same as me
Answer, answer, answer me
Yes or no? No one's unique like me!

I got my name Little Wednesday from The Addams Family because I like Wednesday and I'm littler than her!

This is a cute write. Actually, I don't know The Addams Family
or at least I can't remember them...
But this is interesting, now I know why you are called Little Wednesday... I will try and find out something about The Addams Family

Was Wednesday the daughter in the Adams Family? Because that was an AWESOME show. And there was a Wednesday in it, unless it was a different day of the week.
It is a very original name, there aren't a lot of weekday-names around (at least, I haven't seen any besides yours ^^).
Anyways, I like the poem. It's simple and straight to the point, and happily proud (in a good way, not like the real Beowulf) (excessive pride = hubris. I did learn something this year in english, I swear!). I do think you used the words "same" and "name" a lot, but I don't think that's bad, I just noticed it. ^^

Great poem. I thought the name 'Little Wednesday' sounded familiar. On the other hand I thought you chose it because you were born on that day of the week. Thanks for setting it straight. You wrote this well, Julie. Thanks for sharing it and good luck in the contest.
