God's Servant, God's Flower

When we first met you were lost
But you came to know the Truth
The enemy soon struck you hard
But your faith was strong and prevailed

A light shines bright inside of you
A light of hope, faith, encouragement
Showing the way back for those who are lost
A light of love and compassion to those in need

This is my prayer for you, my friend and sister:
That your light may continue to shine brightly
I pray that God will protect you and be with you
And that you might be blessed for being a blessing

This is for a friend who has finally returned to AllPoetry.

    every time i read your work it is so hard for me to belive you have only be writing for seven months i think you said. your work is what some poets could only wish to come up with within a life time. i really do admire you and your works. awesome job once again

    Wow, Tim, this was way cool. I really liked the pic. And just the idea of a friend coming to Christ...How awesome! I bet she was really happy for this poem. Great job.

    Awwww This is really neat. You did an excellent job on this. you are right, if I continue to read free verse, I will probably begin to enjoy it. Thanks for writing such a beautiful piece. I hope it finds the person it is written for. Also you did a wonderful job on the photo.
