Beneath

The layers of my soul unfold
Blooming like a poisonous flower
As a toxic waste
Seeps out of the leaflets my mind
And emotion combusts upon me
It fireworks
Fourth of July in my mind
Masacre
War
The beginning of the end
I move on
It starts
Bubbling
Belying beneath the surface
A slow bubble
A churning of thoughts
And then explosion

I liked this poem, because it showed the way that emotions can change, from a slow simmer of anger to the boiling and exploding point of sheer rage. Keep up the good work! Really interesting poem!
