Soft warm breezes float on by
Stir the scent of flowers and sea
Carry petals to the sky
Bring fond memories back to me
Hot sunlight and cool dark shade
Brings beads of sweat forth on my brow
Brings respite if there you're laid
I"m so glad it's summer now
Loud music and the windows down
Giggle and laugh as the wind messes our hair
Turn it up louder so our voices drown
Can't wait 'til we're finally there
Sand'n'surf and a diverse crowd
Run as fast as we can for the blue-green water
Listen to the voices, happy and loud
The sun his hot but the guys are hotter
Author notes
I wrote this awhile ago in the middle of math class, so I didn't get to finish it. I'd finish it if I could, but I lost the flow so this is what I've got.
