Nameless

Feeling the passion once again,
facing fears long in slumber.
Free from my own bloody cage.
Content and relaxed I wonder;
about the future,
the present,
and past.
Reminders of words once said,
and promises broken;
of lives forever changed,
and the one I laid to rest.
Contemplating my fate;
memories like rainbows,
in a jail cell erect.
Biting my ankles
the 'what ifs' come calling,
and I thrash in dreams.
Ones of blood,
love and courage.
signatures of my lasting regrets.
Could I do it again?
Send innocence to hell?
Faceless.
Nameless.
Gone without a trace,
And hypnotized by a hateful embrace.
Love isn’t forever,
I doubt the words,
and miss an unborn child.
