I like it when I see haiku with nice vocabulary usage, because since I am still learning , I have been using your haiku as examples to learn. *f

yes Dixie - that is sad. the local coucil is poisoning the willows along my local Merri Creek & that makes me sad too.
but these leaves from the elms were wonderful - i kicked them, i scooped them up in my arms & threw them in the air & i rolled around in them. i became a 53 year old middle-aged boy, lol. -
Brings back sad memories for me so many beautiful elms lost
in Britain, autumn days kicking the golden leaves with the
lovely sound they made, a thing of the past.
