Secret Admirer (Rictameter)

longing
for her loving
gaze to grace my morning
waiting for her sweet voice to sing
my spirit into a state of gladness
from the shadows i admire her
she knows not of my heart
or my aching
longing

Author notes

This is a beautiful write! Really warmed my heart up this afternoon. I've never seen a romantic Rictameter before, but it really does work!

god this is really beautifully constructed and planned out good though it probably took you about an hour maybe two to make it happen but that's still cool

I haven't read many rictameters but being able to hold up a structure and a strong and poignant poem like that all at once is an achievement in itself. I like the way it begins and ends in 'longing' to me it makes it feel like what you speak of is never-ending and in a cycle. But that's just my interpretation.
    Good Write.
