I used to wonder what love was like
Just what made one's heart beat and tick
Exactly what sent their senses flaring
Combining the two, as one
I used to hope and wonder
That if I once found love
That is wouldn't go unnoticed
Without a fleeting glance
But now I know
What true love is
A love without limits
Incapable of definition
Love is when you are second
Your lover always first
Gladly give your life for his
Giving him the last breath
No second guessing
No remorse or after thoughts
If I am ever given the chance
I will take his place in death
Love is strong and lasting
A power too great to yield
That's why its meant for me and you
As a power that must be wielded

The emotions of love just feel to bring out the best of ourselves and the poetry in ourselves, Sky and you are very obviously in love by this poem.

Amazing revelation
Wow! This is such a great poem. I have been reading and writing a lot of poetry lately and this poem seemed to stick with me. It made me realize that I am in love and what I feel is true. The way you described what true love is is what really made me think. There have been so many people that try to give love a definition and a certain limit. But we all know that that's not what love is. Love is undescribeable. It's only something you feel in your heart. Keep up the good work!!!!
