"Escape"
The early sun rises
As the stormy night fades
The chill of the night
Drifts far and away
As your saviour drifts closer
Your thoughts are of bliss
the warmth of the sun
As soft as a kiss
Your fears are behind you
Your escape is near
Reach for the horizon
Where the sun is clear

"Love is a Rose"
love is a dried flower splendid and rare
nurtured by time, feelings and care
it will always be a found treasure soft and sweet
certianly a valuable, beautiful treat
its elegance and grace grows throughout day and age
it is not meant to be burried or trapped within a cage
although one day it may shatter and break away
the memories shared will last long from today

"Losing It"
whatever it is
I have lost it
for now I can see
for now I can laugh
now I no longer care
because it is all in the name of fun
and without fun
then you would have it
sanity

"Tears of Ice"
tears of ice scream of pain
she calls out for the darkness to end
she lives her life each day as it comes
for today never dies
she dreams a dream that will never come true
and hopes tomorrow comes soon
her heart has turned blue
her blood is now cold
for she fears she will never love again

"Lady of Tears"
each day you see her
a smile on your face
you alk aling side her
she seems so in place
she's fun at a dance
or there when you call
she often seems
like the belle of the ball
yet deep in her eyes
you don't see the pain
you're not close enough
to feel her restrain
so proud i nher ways
she'll camouflage all the years
but deep inside her there lies
a lady of tears

the truth in lies
the life in death
the love in hate
the peace in war
