Prayer for Iraq

See my finger, man
See what I have done
I voted for my country
For today Iraq has won

He risked his life, he stood proud
He gave Iraq a chance
For that he should be proud
I can see that in his glance

I ask God to watch over them
As they start their country new
God bless them as God blessed us
Please help them, in all they do

Author notes

Working around the Iraq people every day has givenmy manyreasons to be very proud of them.  They face death and yet have such a great out look on life.  You can see the fear in there eyes but even more so I see the hope.

    im an iraqi
    iraq was so friggen awesome b4 america came in
    they were doing perfectly fine
    fuck noone cared bout the dictator
    they hated him but wat was he gonna do
    - i know how many people he killed..
    and people he attempted to kill..
    but there were much better solutions
    i dont want iraq to become like this fucking hell hole
    why the hell does every1 think americas so great
    this place is nothing compared to how iraq was

    damnit
    fuck democracy
    we just want harmony
    well take a dictator
    just 1 not so bad
    simple mission
    take down dictator or atleast have him hide
    thats all u need

    Absolutely wonderful. If everybody in the U.S. today could see what you see, the hope and wonder of the Iraqi people, than there would not be so much controversy over the war, Well, I don't know about that... but hey, anythings possible right? In a way, I'm jealous. I long to see how people around the world are reacting to this, especially those that have taken the heaviest blow.
