How deep is the pain that you are feeling?
Are you capable of feeling pain...the pain you inflict on yourself and on others
How far from yourself have you grown?
Will you and can you ever find yourself again?
Are you so lost that you are trapped inside a
black hole?
What do you see when you pass by a mirror,
does it reveal your soul?
Your tortured soul..your lonely, tortured soul
Do you know where you are going?
Don’t you realize that you can’t run from yourself
You have left a path of hurt and disillusionment
behind you
It is watered with tears of people that you have lied
to and deceived
People that trusted and believed you
People that loved you
How sad it is that you choose to live your life
like this, running and hiding
creating a persona that is not who you are
but whom you wish to be
Somewhere you have lost your soul in this charade
Somewhere you have lost all that you are and could
ever be..you have lost everything
You have burned bridges
You have broken hearts
You played your games
But as I sit and wonder where you are,
and what you are doing
A tear rolls down my face..a tear for you
I can’t help but feel sorry for you
because you will never know real love
and that is a sad ending to any story

Oh, this one is deep and soul searching. Happy is the person who ask themselves these questions and then makes the changes so they can be pleased with who they are. You write like I do, no rhymning. And you write about important stuff. I like that.

Yes, this strikes a chord within me as well, sometimes people have a path of pain to live, and it leaves a wide berth of hurt. I enjoyed your write, but am sorry for the evident pain within it

This is a great poem,..i feel the emotions in it , they are very real...i know what you mean and how you feel... -
this is great. i can really relate. In some ways it reminded me of myself and in other ways it reminds me of an ex.
i especially loved the stanza

it caputured feelings and pain so well. i think sometimes liars don't realized the often permanent damge they are doing.

I really appreciate this poem. It is sad to not go without love. I sense that this poem is very full of anger. The fact that bridges were burned. I hope your heart and soul will heal.
