Poetic inspiration which
Only you can express so diligently
Zeroing in on the issues at hand
Or writing your thoughts poeticly
Many a time I’ve pondered
Yes, you keep me in the know
Always making me think
Paying attention as you go
Dear pozo, wonder poet that you are
As you address issues of the day
Untold wisdom within your words
Getting to know you and your way
Happy I am that you’ve come into my life
To be my allpoetry daughter and more
Ever in my thoughts you’ll be
Rare indeed you are, as among poets you soar

Two things that irritate me are acrostics and AP families, though strangely this acrostic about an AP family member didn't. It must be good then.

This acrostics is very touching and also well created. I don't understand how poets can get their acrostics to flow so smoothly or to even rhyme! You have done an excellent job, and you make me want to go read her poetry! Well done.

This is so special. I can feel the love from your words. What a wonderful acrostic. I am sure she will delight in this. I must go read some of her works. Lucky you to have such a great daughter. Thank you, my friend, and yes she's been my AP daughter for about a year, probably longer....time flies so fast, it's hard to keep track. I'm glad you know her as well. She has a lot of talent for writing and I do enjoy her poetry. Sometimes she makes me feel like the daughter and her the mother, with her insightfulness and expertise
And yes, all is good with me, I hope the same for you

I will certainly take the hint from your finely crafted poem and check her out. Somehow I was thinking of Jo March of "Little Women", as I read your poem. I once walked past the home of Louisa may Alcott in Concord, Mass., on the same day I visited "Walden's Pond" from Boston. It was a great day in my life. Acrostics are difficult to write without coming off cheesy or cliche but you have done an admirable job here in this piece.I admit I don't the lady very well but she sounds like someone I would like to get to know.

Awww... Yem, she don't hate ya..... at least I don't think she does... well, maybe just a little but not enough to count. I think you should go read some of her work, try to make amends, you never know, she might even read something of yours...Lol, Yem, I think you've hit on a pretty cool combination for a poem...or something.. pozo and catz...yeah

That wild and crazy Pozo, why I remember way back when Pozo and I would have poetry slams together and why all the poets from AP would come to watch...Okay, I lied, I don't know Pozo...but it sounded like so much fun huh.
Acrostics are painful to write...I hope ole Poze appreciates your effort. What a cool name...and what a cool duo name, "Pozo and Catz." Why that's a story waiting to be written!
Lucky Sir Hugh, Pozo has never read anything of mine...I think she hates me.
