Duty

If you don’t understand us
That’s alright with me
When called we do our duty
Regardless don’t you see

We’re Marines, Soldiers, Seamen and Airmen
We go where we are told
We fight the fights you ask of us
It’s we who are so Bold

You may not understand us
We can live with that
But please stand beside us
Because we’ve all earned that

I ask that all of you say a prayer for Charles, He is a hero and has earned our praise. The men and women in uniform are the greatest to ever live.  I salute them all and stand proudly beside them.  I gladly put my life in their hands because they have earned my trust.  Thanks to Rose PrincessofFire for the Line "it's we who are so bold"

    This was an excellent tribute to our men and women who fight whether we think the cause is right or not, they just go as the poem says. Great piece. RC

    One line didn't rhyme, and it interupted the flow you have, but I have a suggestion,
    It’s we who face the world=It's us that are so bold!
    We’re the Marinees,=Marines Soldiers, Seamen and Airmen
    We go where we are told,
    We fight the fights you ask of us
    It's us that are so bold!
    SEE WHAT I MEANT?
