Friends r there for when you need them
You need them as a ring needs a gem
For when you are down
They always around
They need you when their sad
Because your words make them glad
Anytime you need to cry
You will always have a shoulder nearby
But remember one thing do not take it for granted
Because sometimes they leave you empty-handed
Friends can be in and out
But do not doubt
For you will shout

lol, its cute. I think u nead to add more seriousness in your poetry though, i mean like yr true feelings, it can be realy deep. And be a little more metaphoric. Other then that, just keep practicing and writing a lot and you'll get better as you go
