Daa-daa from a fourth grade classroom

drowned wednesday, just last week,
and had to hide the body.
back into the rusack.
a clean cut to the neck, to the rhythmic rise and fall
a day of new people,
slow our breathing and crane our necks
the screams died away
sudden silence
voices of villagers
terror and relief
should be grateful
blisters, red, on hands
a day of new people
sudden silence

I had to write this type of poetry for class last year.unfortunately I had to create it from Eli Wiesel's Night so it was very deppresing.

Personally I like yours better. Its so deep and open to interpretation. a very awesome piece of poetry.

    Thanks for entering
