While walking
I espied
the melding senses and felt the
beauty
as I --
viewed some melody propel
from the poised finical beak
of a swollen red robin-
well-nigh saw the colored waves
timbre launched in sparkling air-
audienced a frolicked dance
the vortex of laughing leaves
indulged by some quick spring wind
swirling in frantic circle
sun-flitt’ring fairy’s ballet-
as tasting bright and yellow stars
amidst an em’rald carpet,
my eye was fed delicious sight
by the humbled dandelion
during nature’s promenade-
smelled the perfume of the sun-
musing for His own appeal
given for our fellowship
the loving fragrance through His earth
hyssop fresh from Yahweh’s eyes.

magnificent imagery.......
I've only been writing poetry for a few months, so I don't know a lot about form poetry yet, but I am learning so much by reading more poetry every day. Your work is some of the best I have read, and I've read hundreds in the few months I have been on this site. I completely agree with your comments about critique on your homepage. I greatly appreciate anyone that takes the time to help my own work to shine that much brighter. I plan on reading much more of your poetry. I've only read a few of them so far.

this is absolutely gorgeous. just amazing talent. and i found in this work such a spiritual feeling. almost as if God has painted these wonderful landscapes for His own delight and we are merely privledged to witness. beautiful images.

i don't know what hyssop is, but i don't think that really matters here. i get the gist, and this is a gorgeous poem. "viewed some melody propel" is a great bit of descriptive action. that's what poetry's about.
also, it's great just seeing these different takes on two words i pulled out of thin air when i realized i ought to put up a contest... it'd been a while. really fascinating and original interpretation of ideas. thanks so much. -

I like the abstraction in this piece. A good piece that you have written here, it flows well.
