Silence is such a fearful sound to a cautious heart
It is a deadly sound that makes my body tremble in fear
My heart pounds and I feel each beat in my throat
as I gasp for air
Wanting to shout but the words are muffled
scared to even verbalize what I am feeling
My ears long to hear the voice that has brought me peace
The voice that has calmed such an insecure existence
I long to hear the beating of another heart that is
encased in the body of my love
I want to hear the words that went directly to my heart
and awoken it like no other has
This silence paralyzes me..
I cannot move...
I cannot think
So afraid to tread on a path that is so new to me
yet a path that is welcoming..
calling to me...
beckoning to me
I path I have chosen to take with my eyes open and full of love
The silence does not allow me to hear the words I need to hear
I am so filled with the fear of not being worthy
I need the silence to dissipate
I need your words to engulf me
Say the words that will inspire me...
and with that inspiration I can know
I was meant to be at this spiritual level
that your love has brought me to, that I belong
Our lives and hearts have been connected by Destiny
Let us bask in the beauty of this gift
Let the silence be gone...and in its place,
your words of love,
understanding and reassurance
