I'm dissolving in you.
As I stand before God, pleading my plea;
there's no greater gift a man can ever recieve
than to find destiny in life's fleeting moment,
and assurance of a lifetime in each day's breath.
I've heard of love stories most of my life,
the good books, the great introductions, the good chapters,
the ripped out pages, the disappointed moments, and
the never ending fairy tales, but nothing as such...
Yes, I've waited for your love with great patience
for I know and do believe; great things always come
to those who wait for them, and as my heart sublimes
to love's purity, I want to spend an eternity with you.
Before I met you, I thought I had the world;
after I met you, I realize I had nothing at all.
Whom ever said love was a myth knew not about you
because my love, my heart has never been so delighted
I love you before God created heaven and earth,
I will stand by you throughout stormy seasons,
even if I have to die in the fire of Armageddon;
I will not leave you even after my breath is gone.
Like a slave who revolts against all odds; I am
revolting against my own flesh and blood, and for
the day I treat you like toxic waste; may my spirit
escape from my body and leave my soul to rot in hell.
Now, I can't thank you in any other way,
but to hold you where my soul resides
which is in the core of my spirit
blessed by God's only grace.

Before I met you, I thought I had all the lucks in the world
and after I met you, I realized I had nothing at all
This line was very emotional to me. It sounded so sincere. Maybe its the way I feel about you. Its funny that love can make you feel better but sad because you know that without it your juts nothing. That's the way I feel about you but more importantly we already know who is the true love and that is God. Without God you are really nothing because it is God that gives all happiness and goodness. Without him you would never have met me and so therefore you would of never been so happy. That's why you should give him thanks to get more of his blessings. True happiness comes to those who have faith and wait on God as we all know.... well I got to go

What a beautiful tribute to your friend... I am glad that you wrote such a beautiful poem to her. She will treasure this always.
My favorite stanza is
For I know and do believe;
great things come to those who wait for them
And now here I am with a smile on my face
A smile so wide, it is as vast as the ocean
This was awesome cause sometimes you just have to wait. Sometimes there are things in the way, but something deep in your heart tells you that one day for no apparent reason the obstacles may disapear. Not by not following God's will. Not at all doing everything you are supposed to... because when feelings are expressed as strongly as is shown in this poem.... when you really feel this emotion it is for a reason.
This poem touched me because I have emotions like this for a person and they consume me. I walk around happy and go lucky all day even know the person isn't talking to me right now. For some reason it doesn't matter. Why would God put feelings in me like that if it wasn't for a reason. So I am just going to trust the big picture back off and...
Sorry I guess I am saying way too much..

True love. I thought I believed in love, but then I realized I was mistaken. I don't know what to believe in anymore, or what there is left to believe in. You are an amazing poet. Amazing piece of work
Wow, Kattieyanna is a very lucky lady. I was looking for things to compliment you on in this piece, and then the list got too long for me to mention them all. Every stanza held something that just made me go 'wow, that's really good'. You're quite the poet. The way you use imagery paints a picture in my mind, which is really important to me when I read poetry. But it wasn't just a picture, you used many of the senses in your poetry, and I learned from you as a poet just reading this one piece of yours. I'm sincerely impressed. Thank you for sharing this. If only I could applaud more than once.
