The Iceman Stirrith

The Insane

The weight of the snow on icy limbs
drifting away, drifting away
pain of surviving a frozen heart pierced
with arrows of pain, arrows of pain.
Buried inside, stirring within
escaping again, escaping again
rendevous for yet another encounter-
must be insane, must be insane.

The Tigress

She, a tigress, now thinking of her
hands gliding freely, traveling up thighs
moans, heated, silken thunder
I hear her sigh, I hear her sigh.
Warm tongues dance across luscious lips
caressing skin, caressing skin
the next moves uncertain, gasping, knowing
it must be a sin, must be a sin.

Burning wet, stroking, lusting
panting desire, panting desire
heat without, heat within
touching the fire, touching the fire...

The Ritz

Looking glamorous at the Ritz
an all-night gala prestigious event
and who do I have at my side?
Yes, you, who are my heaven-sent.
Stunning in your velvet skin
people do a double-take-
obviously my companion for life,
you, my dangerous rattlesnake!

You move like a white apparition
hovering through the smoky air
each ghostly step a wailing cry
blood-curdled with emotional despair.
Half beautiful dream, half blood-chilling scream
through the hallways, quivering
decaying flesh, tattered clothes
concealed behind your witchery…

The Day I Die

The starry evening, the white of the moon
reminding me of our happiness
gliding on waves of your ageless form
bliss encapsuled in your grace
exists within your eternal embrace
that answers what I was calling for.

Even on this day I die
ever so distant, it always seemed
I still feel the fire of your breath
as the echoes of death draw darkly nigh
and I peacefully fade into tranquility.
The earth may lose another soul,
ashes to ashes, I’ll cease to be
but with you, such joys I take with me
so much a lover, so unlikely a friend-
collect the dreams we lived as one
and take them with thee, take them with thee.

    Awesome!

Hey - I know it's been a while, but I knew I'd be back someday. Such as it is, this is excellent; and I like how the pic is distorted, as well.

The insane seems like it's a song. I almost started singing it and I pictured myself on stage with a guitar roaring the lyrics into a microphone. Your poetry tends to send me on head trips like that. nice.
