Light shone upon the silver screen
and the sound of shining stars mingled
with beating heart under cotton shirt,
corneas dilated to soak up the heavens-
eyes moved slowly from point to point
seeking nothing, relishing everything,
he felt so small in the vastness of...
In His eyes - a dream of universal proportion
He saw forever and beyond and knew all things,
focusing His attention down to one planetary light
in the infinite sea of apparent darkness...
He looked down to see a man wide in wonder
gazing with gentle smile into the starry heavens,
He felt each sensation in His creation's mind-
knowing the very number of hairs upon his head.

Wondrous truth, and comfort, offered here. Even for the lost, who too have felt the power of our grand universe awaken something inside of them.

Most assuredly my Friend. There is THAT that not only hears Your words... but knows every time that Your heart skips a beat in joy or is broken or troubled. THAT is Pure LOVE ItSelf, the Nameless Love, and it KNOWS that which is called Suseann in a most intimate way, and Loves Her dearly! Your words are heard... who could be more important than You?

You suppose he really does? I've looked up and spoke to him smiling in great gratitude at times thanking in tears what I'd hoped were his eyes.I wonder yet ,if he hears my hum drum voice in the many .Most times far more important a comment than mine. Very pretty verses and great thoughts in this.~~~Suseann

Excellent
and so sweet and cute. It bought a big smile to my face. Yes, that divine love between....Student and Master. It is so tender and gentle in the way that it manifests from within us.
You reach out and touch us all with your loving heart...Create a mirror of perfection that holds such a sweet depth of understanding of that divine intent.
Your inspiration is so joyous, thank you dear poet

Outstanding!!!
'He looked down to see a man wide in wonder
gazing with gentle smile into the starry heavens,
He felt each sensation in His creation's mind-
knowing the very number of hairs upon his head.'
This is how I feel about God. He lives through us and in us. He made us the way we are to keep himself from being bored. Everything we are, every thought we have, and every hope and dream.... There is nothing to hide... Only forever trying to please Him and live up to what we can be as His creation...
Boy it is all so hard! Any way that is what you stirred up in my mind when I read this poem, dear Presence. I guess you could say you stirred up quite a bit???? Jane

Illuminating
Ah, yes, my Friend, we ARE the Child/eyes of/as the UniVerse (I AM), no less than the trees and the stars...."to be these eyes..", this point of Awareness, seeing Self for Self as Self. Identity. Oneness. All. In our humanity we can be but a mote of perception, in our Divinity WE ARE.
It is a joy to share the giving of Light beside Your illumination, to share witness of "I" with Your eyes.
Peace, Love, Light and Harmony, Rod

This reminds me of my own saying: when you seek, you have been found.
Your verse is expansive, Pres, the eyes looking and the eyes looking back are a delightful metaphor of our place in the universe.
