Freude am Rausgehen
Rennen, lachen, singen
Überall fröhliche Menschen
Hunde toben über die Wiesen
Lachende Kinder
In der Sonne liegen
Nicht mehr frieren
Gute Laune
Sonnenschein
Ohne graue Wolken
Marienkäfer auf den Wiesen
Mehr Freizeit
Eltern spielen mit ihren Kindern
Ruhige Abende im Garten
Herrlich bunte Blätter
Erde ist von ihnen bedeckt
Rote, gelbe und grüne
Bunte Drachen steigen lassen
Schöne Erntezeit
Tanzen, singen und lachen
Weiße unberührte Welt
Ich sehe ihre Schönheit
Nichts anderes ist schöner
Tiere allein hinterlassen ihre Spuren
Erde und Häuser sind mit Schnee bedeckt
Rein und unbeschadet sieht alles aus

I feel the sun -
Nice and warm -
Giving me hope
Swimming in the sea
Under the trees
Many people relax
Mothers play with their children
Everyone is outside -
Reading, running, laughing
Flying kites
All children love to see
Leaves falling to earth
Lovely red and and yellow ones
Walking over snow white fields,
I see the beauty of winter time
Nothing is more beautiful
Than this cold season
Everything looks pure
Roofs covered with snow

Very nice, I especially enjoyed the German rhyming and can see the landscape this celebrates so well, especially those snow decked rooves. The kids sing a cute Jahreszeit song in choir.

A lovely Acrostic written in both languages on the four seasons. I enjoyed reading it very much.

dear ann,
I am doubly blessed with this poem being in both english and my mother-tongue german. I enjoyed both versions very much, and it was a nice feeling to hear those familiar sounds again, praising the four season with all their beauty and grace.
paying homage to the gifts and offerings that each season brings forth, is like a prayer of gratitude to the Lord Who bestows His blessings on us in many different ways.

I really like this poem....Acrostics are one of my favorite types of poems and I think you did this one very well. I think I like this stanza best:
