A Flower IN The Garden Of Love
For Susan, our lovely Blushfulmoon
I seem to recall when first we met
and we both were brand new on allpoetry,
that you made me feel so welcome here
when you said, "Please come visit me"
You seemed like a special lady then
and have proven me right in every way
your lovely verse, our visits you see
are still the best part of my day
For all the pleasure you've sent our way
with the beauty of your words, the pictures, too,
you always bring joy into our hearts
your love for us all spoken true
You've shared with us your laughter and tears
the sadness, and pain, all that you feel inside
yet you reach out too us in our woes
for us, your heart you've opened wide
Now it's our turn to comfort, to pray
for a respite from the pain for you, dear friend
so laugh, send the blues down the road
send them packing around the bend
Your one of the best things to happen
to a site filled with all kinds of words,you see
we're so glad to have you among us
we love you, Susan, sincerely

Loved the poem and the background I'm gonna be sneaky and right click on the background and save it
Had to go to ER tonight was hurting so bad..got me a shot of Demerol and thought was I wasn't hurting I could read some entry's...also thank you for donating points to this....Rose is calling me about every night and checking up on me..I am glad so many care and some I have never met...was so lucky to have stumbled on this site way back in 2002...best of luck in the contest...

I sure don't envy you having to judge this contest, Linda. I've done some where I practicaly had to draw straws. When it comes to real stuff and especially personal things, it's so hard to judge. I wish you luck, though
