Was It Love?
There is no one else here,
There is no one else anywhere.
Alone and lost,
What did I do to have to pay this cost??
I know what you all think and must see...
I wish I could be rid of it and be free.
Everytime you call,
That is the reason I want to fall...
I took a step back and said WOW!
I never realized..you were really that low.
Long walks along the sand,
Walking hand in hand.
We had our own dreams,
Followed our own streams,
Yet somehow,
Always ended up back in the shadow.
Didn't want you to waste your time,
Maybe I shouldn't have wasted mine.
You should just walk away,
Save it for a different fool, another day.
Watched over you so many nights,
Nothing ever turns out right.
I guess friends will be,
but it isn't really for me.
I'll just be your friend,
friends hopefully 'till the end.

I am not sure if I like this one...I just kinda wrote something...I have been having some test done latly..sorry I havent posted in a while..enjoy!

I personally love it. I can relate to this so well.. seeing my friends stoop so low.. and how they only want to be friends. But yet love can still exist past a relationship; friendships can hold strong love as well.
