The Way You Treat Me

Time flies by as you sit
Staring into space
Pretending you don't hear me
Screaming as i pace

You're the reason you hear my pain
You've caused all of this hurt
It's high time now you hear me say
"Stop treating me like dirt"

Maybe to you, I'm not that great
And I know I have my flaws
But that doesn't mean you can beat me down
And scratch me with your claws

You and your attitude, they make me sick
The way you make me feel
How you say, "you're so stupid"
Failing to let me heal

Time's run up, my patience is gone
Your reign over me is done today
I will be strong 'cause i have legs
I'll stand up and I won't stay

Author notes

this is something i made up when i had another fight with my mom. i thought this fit because i am working harder to me nicer to my mom since i am aware that i don't treat her with respect. this is before i began to change (even just slightly) and in my MOM'S point of view, just to tell you. i hurt her, she feels pain, this is her story...
