Writer's Block

The words do not come quickly
I don't know what to write
I'm not sure what I have to say
My words just don't seem right.

I haven't penned a poem
Since, gosh, I don't know when.
So I figure that, whatever comes,
I'll try to work it in.

I don't feel like writing love songs-
The words just will not come.
I do not carry pain or angst-
No topics which make me numb.

So I'll just sit here writing
Saying nothing to no one
And finish up my musings
On which I have begun.
