Feathered Spring

.

Sing little bird!
Invade my soul
with springtime calls,
salutations to the sun
in your maiden's ears.

Answers come quickly
from across green field-
hearing your song,
she comes calling
to consider your visage!

Pick a good perch now-
in your springtime plumage
you are all the fashion...
May she see the beauty
that has captured my heart!

How rapturous your sentiments and vivid your emotions.i felt that I was riding astride a horse though a flat green field on a spring day! This piece is remarkable. Your spirit seems to bulge from every word and soar with every expression! This is unexceptionable, beautiful, remarkable!!

    Tra la! Tra la!

Isn't it grand that the things that touch us the most are simple gifts from God? Your words completely capture the joy that one gets from a tree and a bird. This time of year especially! Loved this. Jane

    !!!!!!! Beautiful !!!!!!!!

Once again, your ability to poetically express the presence of the moment shines bright! How many times do people hear the birds sweet songs and just filter it out of their conscious minds?
OH, the beauty of natural melodies surround us! Let us truely listen and /hear/ , as the beautiful maiden demonstrates so well. Like attracting like, beauty attracting beauty, natural bliss attracting natural bliss... What more can we ask, than to be surrounded by such wondrous works! Isn't life GREAT!!!!

    Thanks for sharing this.

Nice write-Yes! The luscious scenes and scents of mother nature enfolding the sweet symphony of birdsong/melodies-such pleasure! Just the other day as I was in a walking/meditation mode, I looked up and said, just as your poem opens,"sing birds, sing!"-let the invasions continue, I say! Thanx for this wonder-filled piece....peace & blessings and continue living in l.o.v.e.

    Beautiful

Just this morning, I sat on my porch and watched a pair of doves that have made a nest in my old pecan tree for several years now. I rememebered the many little ones that made their first flight from that old tree. Ohhh the sweetness of Spring brings tears to these eyes. Re-birth at its most glorious.

Ah, the sweet call for the balancing of nature for the purpose of creation...the joining of gendered energies for the completion of life. Like the flowers, mating and love blooms in the symphony of Life, love in full expression.

    Sweetly sung, little bird.

    Peace, Rod
